This 2003 Cape Horn 17 Offshore (Hull ID: FAB17609H203) comes with a NEW 2022 Mercury 150XL with only 3 hours on the engine. I purchased the boat and trailer without an engine after the covid dilemma started. I am retired in Texas but lived in Florida for a decade and I needed a project to keep me occupied and I knew how great the Cape Horn boats are built. I drove from Houston all the way to Tallahassee to pick this boat up from Florida State University. It took me over two years but I completely rebuilt the boat and Magic Trail trailer.

The Cape Horn 17 is probably the most versatile boat made. It is capable of shallow inshore fishing and nice weather offshore trips as well. Its moderate at the transom, sharp entry at the bow and wide chines form a soft dry ride.
The wide beam and high free board allow this boat to handle heavy loads and heavy 4-stroke outboards without any problem. Like all Cape Horns, the 17 is built with highest standards and quality. One look inside and you realize this boat is definitely in a class by itself.
